 While boat dealer P.D. Sohn did much of the work, he attributed his customers to developing the design of the original Premier 230 Elite, a pontoon boat designed specifically for Lake Conroe .
"After years of being on the water, we finally found a flexible manufacturer who is willing to go the extra mile to provide customers with exceptional quality," says Sohn, who opened his dealership on Lake Conroe more than 26 years ago.  The quality construction of Premier 230 Elite included rotocast seat bottoms, chambered 25" pontoons, and lifetime replacement deck warranty. The triple tube boat was available with a 4.3 Volvo Duo-prop I/O engine to ensure immediate takeoff and skier satisfaction. The 23 ft length was settled on to fit into the standard Lake Conroe dock configurations and maximized the ride comfort on the water.
As time has passed since the introduction of the original Elite, customer needs/wants have changed and expanded; also with even more bulk heading the Elite has been modified and improved to the new 235 Grand Majestic – Elite Lakeshore Sports Special Edition. The changes include a larger engine with the addition of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI); the astounding PTX high performance center tube design; a raised helm to give the driver maximum visibility during the busy weekends; a standard extended rear swim platform for greater safety and skier convenience; a larger Bimini Top and new, more exciting, furniture designs, layouts and colors. Sohn still attributes the new model improvements to his customers. "With our on-the-water location, we have the privilege of seeing customers every weekend. That helps us know what works best for them," he said. Much of the dealer's inspiration comes from his 26+ years selling boats on Lake Conroe . When Sohn opened the business, he was the first dealer in the area to offer in-the-water demonstrations. "Many people don't even test drive their boat before they purchase it," Sohn said. "We want our customers to feel confident behind the wheel, so the only thing on their mind is having a great time on the water."
